Managing with Gratitude Giving constructive and effective feedback to employees is almost never easy. Here’s a tip for using gratitude as a powerful tool. Keep a Gratitude Log on each employee. When he or she does something well—be it extraordinary, consistent, thorough, thoughtful or just plain helpful—document with as much specificity what your employee did. You can use a handwritten notebook or create files on your computer. Make it a ritual—document something once a day. |
